I was wondering , If the % N , and N is the number of nodes , The N value could change if the new servers are added or some servers fail.I had the feeling the N value should be different from that of the number of nodes. Some thing like 2N-1 or something else. May be I read it somewhere else that number should be different than the number of nodes.
